The proposed development area is approximately 18 km² and may accommodate up to 30 floating offshore wind foundation units. The structures are described within the Scottish Ministers’ screening opinion dates 7th April 2026, as:

• approximately 130 × 130 metres in foorprint

• up to 45 metres in height

• with around 30 metres visible above sea level

The nearest structures may be located approximately 1.39 km offshore at the closest point to land. The proposal would also involve:

• mooring and anchoring systems

• chains and safety buoys

• ongoing vessel movements

• installation and towing operations

• temporary exclusion zones during operations
